What is ANDO’s purpose?
Ando modular is seeks to create sustainable surgical access for community in Africa
Ando is not another surgical charity - it is a new concept of modular aid based around building local capacity in developing nations.
Countries like Uganda have historically been challenged by an underfunded health care sector, and Ando saw a need to create a dedicated facility in Jinja to specifically meet the need of surgical care across burns, congenital diseases and trauma.
Fundamental to ANDO’s modular aid module is sustainability and so why we partner with local NGO’s on projects that are needed by the community, but also financially viable. .
